Natural Beauty in the United States

Some of the most amazing natural sights the West Coast has to offer.

--

The United States is a huge country. That in itself is an understatement. Coming from a very small, flat country (the Netherlands), driving for hours through the same state is amazing. Especially when those hours of driving entail deserts, trees, mountains, and lakes.

I had the opportunity to travel along the West Coast. Traveling by car meant the possibility to see both the ocean and more in-land areas. As a travel junkie always looking for travel tips, I felt the urge to share some of the beauties I witnessed in case any other travel junkies wanted some West Coast road trip destinations.

In a time-span of ten days, of which some was spend in LA (where there is a lot of traffic), I drove through California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.

California:

Los Angeles was mainly the entry and exit point of the trip. While we didn’t see too much, I do recommend Venice Beach. You can see the Santa Monica Pier in a distance (you can walk there) and there are lots of people, shops, and tasty food around…
