A mix of culture and vacation: exploring Egypt

Four years too late, I finally “cashed-in” my overdue father-daughter trip. Since graduating High School, life was being lived to its fullest extent and therefore my dad and I had been unable to find an appropriate time for our trip. Now, as we are both in a more time-flexible stage of life, we got organised: eight days of exploring Egypt.

I like to write about traveling. What to do and where to go; and this travel adventure that my dad and I shared definitely had some good tip-worthy experiences.

This will be a mix of culture and vacation. When traveling, I enjoy mixing the two, as I feel both are needed for a well-balanced trip. Also… I must say, when I go somewhere and just stay in a resort the whole time, I don’t feel like I actually visited the country. The resort doesn’t give you a taste of what life is like.

So when travelling to Egypt, I tried to do both: experience Egyptian culture and enjoy a relaxing vacation.

The eight day trip included three different locations: first up was Cairo, then we headed south to Luxor, and third was Hurghada. After which…
