A piece of me feels very cringy writing this. All I’m missing by now is that stock photo that every Medium article about writing seems to have, you know the one with the wooden table, journal, and coffee cup? In case you don’t know, it’s this one. Thanks Thought Catalog for this one.

But I’m not here to kid around. I’m also not here to tell you that if you write every day on here and sell your soul that you’ll finally make money and get those thousands of views you so much desire. While definitely feasible for some, it’s not for all.

So what am I here to share with you? Well, I want to talk about the idea of writing 20 articles per month when you don’t write full time. With that, I mean anyone who writes in their free time, for fun, because they love it. Yes, the money you can make is cool, who doesn’t love earning the equivalent of a free coffee? Should you sell your soul in the process? Not at all.
